Empowering Women Leaders in Higher Education
Celebrating and empowering women leaders in innovation, technology transfer and research commercialisation at UWC and across South African higher education institutions.On Monday, 25 August 2025, our Director, Dr Ana Casanueva, had the privilege of presenting at the HERS-SA Conference—a powerful platform dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in higher education.
In her talk, Dr Casanueva reflected on her journey in Innovation and Entrepreneurship—both within and beyond higher education—sharing how personal and professional growth has shaped her path.
